Located in one of the sheds on a working farm is the Karkloof Farmer’s Market. The market offers fresh produce as well and homemade local products. The wide array of vendors come together to sell fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, traditional French artisan bread, cakes and tarts, and moreish pizzaz and pastas. Patrons can additionally find organic cheese and yoghurt, nougats, a variety of homemade pickles and preserves, and even biltong from the local Nguni cows.
Children are also provided for, with sandpits and jungle gyms. Popular pony rides are also available. Those looking for more than a shopping experience can walk around the nursery and enjoy the smells of fresh flowers, brewing coffee and baked bread, or relax and observe the beautiful views of the Midlands countryside, the tumbling hills and verdant forests
