Made in Cape Town, a project of the Craft & Design Institute launches a campaign encouraging all small to medium businesses to sign up to their initiative and benefit from a range of services geared towards supporting and growing local entrepreneurs.

Made in Cape Town is a membership programme that helps businesses with their marketing, brand awareness, partnerships and networking. The project was developed with seed funding from the City of Cape Town, after extensive research into the needs of businesses.

Made in Cape Town offers three membership packages. The Basic Package, for just R500, offers a listing on the membership directory on the Made in Cape Town website. The Lite Package for R1,500 per year gives businesses a digital toolkit, listing in the business directory, social media promotion, and more.

The Full Package offers additional invitations to Made in Cape Town events, advertising opportunities, direct connections with other businesses, syndicated newsletter articles, and more.

Made in Cape Town also focuses on educating the public on the importance of supporting local businesses by shifting their mindsets to think, buy, shop, play, visit, and experience everything local.
