Promenade Mondays is a weekly social skate meetup taking place from October to April each year, where skaters come together and skate, roll or ride along the scenic Sea Point Promenade as one big happy family.

Everybody is welcome with open arms, from beginners to professionals, and all people from all walks of life. Promenade Mondays started as a soft protest, aiming to destigmatise skateboarding. The gathering has since become an entry point into the skating world, a safe space for weekly connection, and a beacon of community awareness and social change.
