Just in time for the holiday season, Fourways Mall is launching a smorgasbord of activities for the whole family to enjoy this December.
The shopping mall, located in northern Johannesburg, has a range of entertainment and shopping options for visitors to enjoy in the run-up to the holidays. Below are a range of activities on offer:
Santa Land
The main Santa Land experience is mostly located in the Main Promotions Court and is a structure containing Santa’s bedroom, the naughty and nice list and a post-box that sends letters to the North Pole.
Children can write letters to Santa, try cookie decorating with Hotbake, visit Santa’s Kitchen and Workshop, experience the sensory wall, and listen in to Exclusive Book's story readings. They can also meet favourite book characters such as the Gruffalo, Peter Rabbit, Maisie Mouse as well as local favourites like Haas Daas and Bennie Boekwurm.
The back of Santa Land features Toy Kingdom, Hamleys and Build-A-Bear and is where children can get their face painted or find balloon sculptures. For an added price, families can take a family portrait with Santa which is then framed in a special trinket.

The Festive Fourways Market
This curated festive market is located in the passages between Game, H&M and Truworths from 14 to 23 December. Shoppers can find handmade, and artisanal gifts on sale, and also enjoy music as musicians roam the mall throughout the festive period.
Charity
Shoppers can support Reach For A Dream by getting their gifts wrapped for just R10 a gift, with funds going to the non-profit, or else support the same organisation by participating in the Disney Chari-tree. new or secondhand toys (in good condition) can be donated to The Angel Network using the branded donation boxes located outside Toys R Us and Toy Kingdom.
Fourways Mall also has its usual offerings of restaurants, cinemas, shops, play areas, Hamley's train and entertainment spots like Adventure Golf, Bounce Inc, The Fun Company arcade and ten-pin bowling.
