Sci-Bono Discovery Centre

Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is Southern Africa’s largest science centre focussing on maths, science and technology education. The centre practices dynamic and interactive learning and has almost 400 permanent exhibits that encourage all visitors to touch, feel, learn and play.

Other than its extensive collection of interesting science and technology exhibitions, Sci-Bono also has a broad programme of science and technology events, activities and programs that benefit the general public and schools. Some exhibitions include a mirror maze, rock climbing, robotic 41R, H2O, Nat Geo, mechanical systems and arctic exhibitions. The planetarium is a centre crowd favourite. There are many games, puzzles and elements to play and interact with.

The centre hosts temporary and travelling local and international exhibits, such as the Wonder of Rock Art Lascaux and Africa. A career centre can also be found in the centre where career guidance, information and counselling is offered.
